The Challenge

Creating a memorable and unique video for the World Photography Day that gives ode to its users while highlighting what the day means to vivo.

The Treatment

In collaboration with Bang In The Middle agency, we narrowed down on an approach that we should take edit wise to be able to fulfill the objective and deliver the film before the big day arises. The photos were then brought to life through animation and the pace of the edit.

The Craft

We treated it in a very minimalistic, crisp and powerful way which we call ‘The Cinematic Ballad’ at GoodFellas Studio. The reason being, we believe and respect the fact that photos are very powerful in themselves and speak volumes in an instant without even saying a single word.

Vivo India

We brought energy to the video through the integration of minimal texts and edge-to-edge pictures transitioning into minimal, crisp layouts that play with how we perceive photos , encouraging the viewer to look deeper and beyond a first glimpse.

Rather than transitioning through hard cuts, we chose to keep them smooth and subtle wherein the effects are not in your face but they do linger on.

To build out our story and connect them to a larger objective, we thought of weaving the same through a strong and powerful voice over which would adopt a neutral tone that is grounded and warm at the same time.

To avoid any distraction, we picked a music track which is intriguing. The idea was to start off less prominent and have a build up to turn climatic and then end the video with silence and some white noise.
