Being a B2B business, PineLabs wanted to create testimonial videos/ functional films with their partners – Puma, WakeFit, No Broker, Pharmeasy, IIFL as to how using PineLabs makes the payments process easy. These videos are to be used in the brand building process and also to target the other competitive businesses and potential collaborators.

The Treatment

The case study encompasses compelling video scripts, each demonstrating the seamless integration of innovative platforms and services. Beginning with the Plural testimonial video, a dynamic “talking to the camera” approach artfully weaved the speaker’s business narrative with collaborative employee engagements, effectively highlighting the Plural interface’s impact within their work environment. This synergistic portrayal was intensified by the speaker’s presence against dynamic backdrops, expertly captured through skillful camera dynamics. The video elegantly showcased collective dedication and leadership within a visually immersive setting, bolstered by gradual logo integration and strategic product screen intercuts.

Transitioning to the IIFL Setu Success Studio, a vivid visual journey unfolded, symbolising modernity and financial empowerment. A carefully choreographed sequence portrayed Jyothi’s interaction with Setu, highlighting cutting-edge technology and user-friendly experiences. The video seamlessly integrated technological advancements with human interaction, culminating in a successful collaboration narrative.

In parallel, the collaborative video with WakeFit highlighted the narrative prowess of Lokesh. A mix of engaging camera interactions, strategic transitions, and product showcases underscored furniture offerings and seamless transactions. Through these distinct case studies, the harmonious fusion of innovative interfaces, human connection, and effective storytelling emerged as a hallmark of success, conveying the potential for seamless integration and heightened customer experiences.

The Craft

The video features a lively walk-and-talk style, constantly changing locations with creative transitions for a dynamic pace. The focus is on showcasing a seamless merge of Pine Labs X PUMA products in action, blending energetic visuals with a natural and engaging dialogue. The backdrop features a dynamic blend of office and sporty environments, infused with vibrant colors to create an energetic visual appeal. From sleek office spaces to vibrant sports arenas, the varied backgrounds mirror the versatility of PUMA’s style. This mix adds a lively and engaging atmosphere to the video, enhancing the overall aesthetic. The costume selection for the video strikes a balance between style and functionality. The outfits seamlessly blend comfortable activewear with trendy elements, complemented by PUMA’s athletic footwear. The goal is to showcase a dynamic and fashion-forward look that resonates with the active lifestyle while emphasizing PUMA’s sporty aesthetic. Elevating the video’s energy, a subtle sporty music score underscores the dynamic walk-and-talk narrative, enhancing the overall experience. With a low volume, it complements the visuals without overpowering the engaging dialogue, creating a seamless and immersive blend of sound and visuals. The IIFL Setu Success Studio, the video commenced by portraying a cluttered table top adorned with stacks of paperwork, files, calculators, and an antiquated monitor. As the elements systematically vanished, a stark visual contrast emerged, spotlighting a modern smartphone at the frame’s center. This poignant transition symbolised a shift towards modernity and convenience. Evoking a sense of financial empowerment, a hand emerged from the smartphone, symbolically withdrawing money reminiscent of an ATM transaction, synchronised with an engaging musical accompaniment. Seamlessly transitioning to an interview setting, the video introduced Jyothi’s entrance into the frame, with her equipment prominently displayed. Top shots illuminated the smartphone screen, showcasing Setu BBPS animation, followed by a visually captivating cascade of gold coins emanating from the device. Animated depictions of APIs and a sequence of UPI apps rapidly emerged on smartphones, underscoring technological innovation. A low-angle smartphone close-up depicted a confident tap on the ‘PAY EMI’ button, cementing the thematic progression. Artful motion graphics enveloped the smartphone, enhancing visual engagement. Concluding with a collaborative exchange, the video showcased Jyothi and the Setu team in dialogue, culminating in a close-up of Jyothi’s interview frame, emblematic of a triumphant narrative arc.

For the collaboration video with WakeFit, Lokesh initiated the furniture commercial by introducing himself while positioned at the bed’s centre. A swift montage showcased WakeFit mattresses, followed by a left-to-right panoramic shot revealing a previously vacant space now adorned with labeled home furniture products. Lokesh’s direct communication with the camera coincided with a customer’s entrance, progressing towards the billing counter. The counter featured a Pine Labs Pay Later logo-adorned POS machine. Sequential wide-angle close-ups depicted diverse card transactions involving various swipes and dips. A significant transition ensued as a substantial TV screen enveloped the frame, within which Lokesh, seated on a recliner, delivered key lines. Notably, graphics illustrated EMI installment details. Lokesh’s communication continued while seated comfortably on a recliner, encircled by expanding product racks highlighting cashback offers, including a prominent 30% super deal. Additional customer interactions showcased key pointers around the POS machine via graphics. Through Lokesh’s engaging presence and skilful visual storytelling, the commercial effectively communicated furniture offerings, easy transactions, and appealing promotions to potential customers.

The case study showcases the seamless integration of PharmEasy’s services using Plural. Commencing with a smartphone screen, a hand initiates an order on PharmEasy’s app. The scene transitions as Ankit Jain receives a PharmEasy delivery box, introducing the narrative. Ankit’s casual entrance into the interview frame exudes a relatable ambiance, enhanced by laughter. His identity is established with a GFX – Name Lower Third. A wide interview shot captures his insights, followed by a close-up for intimate connection. The study illustrates the user experience by displaying a PharmEasy payment checkout page on a laptop, highlighting Plural as the preferred choice. The payment gateway’s success rate graph is showcased. Additionally, a conference room scenario features a Plural team video call on a TV, transitioning as Ankit completes his statement for the camera.
