Our primary challenge was to establish Ugaoo as a dominant force in both organised and unorganised plant retail markets while justifying its premium positioning.

We needed to create a narrative that would resonate with our core demographic – urban millennials, particularly women aged 25-50, who are passionate about gardening and home décor.

The campaign had to effectively communicate Ugaoo’s position as the leading destination for house plants and gardening essentials, while creating content that would engage audiences across multiple digital platforms.

Additionally, we needed to craft messaging that would justify the brand’s premium pricing by showcasing its quality and unique value proposition in the market.

The Treatment

We chose to tell the story through a window’s perspective – a silent witness to changing seasons and family celebrations. This unique narrator allowed us to naturally integrate Ugaoo’s products into traditional Diwali celebrations while maintaining authenticity.

The narrative follows multiple families preparing for Diwali, capturing their debates over décor, excitement over gifting, and the joy of creating something beautiful together. The window observes everything from summer’s harsh sun to festive preparations, finally culminating in the perfect Diwali celebration enhanced by Ugaoo’s green offerings.

The Craft

Our visual treatment embraced a dynamic and intimate storytelling style that brought viewers into the heart of Diwali preparations. The camera movement flowed naturally through family spaces, capturing both the grand scope of celebrations and the minute details of decorative elements. We employed a combination of wider shots to establish the festive atmosphere and intimate close-ups that highlighted the integration of Ugaoo’s products within traditional settings. The lighting design evolved throughout the film, transitioning from natural daylight to the warm, golden glow of evening celebrations, creating a visual journey that enhanced the emotional resonance of each scene.

The Craft
